Elizabeth Hurley has confirmed her split from husband Arun Nayar amid infidelity reports. The 45-year-old British actress announced on Twitter that they separated months ago.

She wrote: "Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this."

The split followed tabloid rumors that Hurley was seen sneaking into a hotel to see Australian cricket player Shane Warne. News of the World claimed they spent the night together at the Bentley Hotel in London last week and even included pictures and footage of the two kissing.

Hurley and textile heir Nayar started dating in late 2002. They married in March 2007 at the Sudeley Castle in England and tied the knot for the second time at Umaid Bhawan Palace in India.

She has an 8-year-old son, Damian Charles Hurley, with ex-boyfriend Stephen Bing.  icelebz
