Former "Growing Pains" actor Andrew Koenig has cleared his Los Angeles apartment before leaving town for Vancouver. He also left a cryptic note before he ultimately went missing.

Andrew left a note to someone named Solange, with instructions about a hideaway bed.
The letter, believed to be the last he wrote before he disappeared, reads: "Solange, The bed is a hide-a-way in the wall. There's a ton of dust under the springs but I don't have a dust-buster to search it so don't worry about it. Thanks Andrew."

Also, a neighbor told the website that Andrew said he was just going on a vacation, but he found it odd because he cleared up his apartment.

He said, "He started putting all his stuff out front trying to sell it. I actually got a cabinet from him because he said he was going to put it up on Craigslist for $175 but that if I wanted it I could just have it."

"He told me he was going up to Vancouver and was excited to go on vacation. Looking back though, it's weird that he got rid of everything he owned before going on a vacation. He was a nice guy, always very friendly with me. I hope he's alright."

Meanwhile, in a strange coincidence, TMZ found out that the man who had lived in Andrew's apartment building two years ago also turned up missing, but he unfortunately ended up killing himself.

But according to its handyman source, he does not believe the actor is dead because he gave a 30-day notice before moving out and got his security deposit back, something a suicidal might not do.

A neighbor said that Andrew left a new pair of running shoes on his front doorstep with a note that read, "These will make a world of difference."

The landlord of his building also revealed to TMZ that Andrew and his mother did not get along. icelebz
