In an upcoming movie on the genesis of the Mumbai underworld, Bollywood actor Kangna Ranaut will be sporting 12 different looks, complete with 12 different wigs, upon which a whopping amount of Rs 20 lakh (US0,000) has been spent.

The enormous amount of money was spent for her role in the movie, "Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai."

Kangna's role in the movie is inspired by the legendary heroine of yesteryears' Bollywood, Madhubala. To incorporate the look of the old Hindi cinema, the 12 different hairdos were added to Kangna's look.

The look sported by Kangna's character in the movie is the most expensive style to be worn by a Bollywood heroine so far.

The film's director, Milan Luthria, said he employed the best hair stylists in the business to make sure that the money spent on the wigs did not go waste.

The movie chronicles the growth of the Mumbai underworld, tracing the early stages of crime and smuggling until the recent past. Based in 1970s' Mumbai, the movie also stars Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi and Prachi Desai. icelebz
