Kardashian sisters sued over reneging on dedit card deal

The Kardashians are being sued for pulling out of their debit card venture deal. Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, as well as their momager Kris Jenner and their company Dash Dolls, are facing a $75 million lawsuit filed by Revenue Resource Group for breaching their contract.

Just a few weeks after excitedly launching their own MasterCard debit card, the E! reality show stars pulled out of their deal, saying that the sisters' image have been negatively affected by the backlash on the cards.

The Kardashian Prepaid MasterCard garnered criticisms for having hefty hidden fees. The Connecticut Attorney General's Office even accused the sisters of "marketing a dangerous financial fantasy."

Now, Revenue Resource Group, the company that licensed their image for the card, is crying foul. It claims that the Kardashians had left their two-year contract with them. Their abrupt exit apparently created a bad PR storm for the company.

RRG head attorney Scott Rudd told E! News, "The company waited a month to file hoping this would work out. They didn't want to sue."

The company "spent a great deal of time and effort securing the rights to use the Kardashian card. RRG is an independent sale organization, which gives it the right to market pre-paid debit card."

The Kardashians apparently "effectively put this company out of business" after they walked away from their contract.  icelebz
