Sarah Palin won't be camp back to Alaska, TLC show not renewed

"Sarah Palin's Alaska" won't be back for a second season, it has been said. The former vice presidential nominee's TLC reality show may be a ratings hit, but there are apparently no plans to send her back for more camping trips.

The 2-part 9th episode of the show, aired Sunday, appears to be the last one. Producer Mark Burnett has canceled Sarah's trips to the Alaskan wilderness despite averaging 3.2 million viewers per week.

The move is said to be based on Sarah's decision to run in 2012 for President.

Although the show generated a lot of bad press, it was a rating hit for the cable channel that is known for its slew of reality TV programs.

As EW noted, if the Republican Party sweetheart decides to shoot more episodes, it would be interpreted as a sign that she had no plans to run for public office.

But as it seems, she spared TLC the trouble of having to provide her fellow candidates with equal face time on the network if she truly wishes to run.  icelebz
