Madonna talks business with Malaysian tycoon

In an effort to expand her business empire, superstar Madonna is in talks to open a chain of nightclubs.

The "Ray of Light" singer reportedly met with Malaysian tycoon Tony Fernandes, who owns Asia's largest airline company AirAsia, as well as several nightclubs and hotels throughout the globe.

The two have discussed her interest in buying stakes in his company, including one London nightclub called Aura.

Madonna is a regular to the exclusive club, and reports say she is believed to be keen to putting her own influence into the venue.

A source told the Times of Londonr: "Madonna sees it as a natural move. She has ambitious plans."

Although Madonna is definitely known more for being a top-selling artist than a nightclub owner, the larger-than-life entertainer has never been shy from venturing out into the business world.

Last November, the 52-year-old star opened The Hard Candy Fitness Center in Mexico City, and she plans to launch another 10 gyms in Argentina, Russia and in Europe. icelebz
