Tiger Woods Ends 13-Year Business Deal With Golf Digest

New York, NY, United States (AHN Sports) - Tiger Woods has been a featured part of Golf Digest magazine for the past 13 years. That long-standing relationship will end in February.

Golf Digest editor-in-chief and chairman, Jerry Tarde, called the parting "amicable."

"We decided it's time for a break," Tarde said.

The February edition of the magazine will have the final feature where Woods gives golf tips that are typically accompanied by a series of action photos.

Golf Digest kept Woods on its payroll last year, even when Woods was staying out of the public eye and his tips were not carried in the magazine.

The PGA Tour opened its season Thursday in Hawaii. Woods was not there, he's at Nike's research and development facility working with some new equipment for 2011. icelebz
